Stable Hands is a local organization that, for 20 years, has provided equine (horse) therapy that enhances the quality of life and health for special needs individuals by improving physical, emotional, cognitive and social development. Emily’s Path recently gave $1,000 to Stable Hands. The funds will be used to sponsor therapeutic riding classes for a disabled child, and to assist with the construction of an indoor facility, so that Stable Hands can offer classes on a year-round basis. Don’t miss their Hoofbeats of the Heart fundraiser at Marathon Park tomorrow — Saturday, October 13th!
