The children Emily went to school with are graduating from Wausau West High School this spring. We were incredibly humbled and honored to find out that the Wausau West Student Council is holding a fundraiser for Emily’s Path “to honor her memory and to recognize her place in the Class of 2015.”
The event is called “Color Emily’s Path” and is a spin-off of the popular “Color Run.” Each attendee is asked to wear a white shirt (clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, please!), and will be given a 1/2 pound bag of colored powder. The participants will walk a trail of less than one mile around the high school and toss the colored powder along the course. Art, photos of Emily and students dusting more color powders on passing participants will line the path. Concessions will be available. The event details are below. If you would prefer to make a cash donation, the Student Council is accepting funds, which will be donated to Emily’s Path in the name of the Class of 2015.
